Third-year Mechanical Engineering student at Gebze Technical University, and a 42 Türkiye cadet who has finished the Common Core. I split my time between the physics of machines and the code that drives them — and right now I'm working my way into machine learning.
Where I come from, and what I keep building
Two schools at the same time, the clubs that eat my weekends, and what I'm teaching myself on the side.
I study Mechanical Engineering at Gebze Technical University, currently in my third year. Alongside it I'm at 42 Türkiye on the Kocaeli campus, where the whole curriculum is peer-to-peer, project-based and written mostly in C — no lectures, no safety net. I've completed the Common Core and I'm now advancing on the RNCP path.
Doing both at once is the point. Mechanical engineering teaches me why a system behaves the way it does; 42 taught me to build the thing that controls it.
What I'm putting my own time into right now is AI. I'm working through the fundamentals in Python from the bottom up — starting with the classical models and the maths under them rather than reaching for a framework first. Coming from an engineering background, I'd rather understand why a model converges than just watch it do so.
